WILD WISDOM GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2024 - CHAMPIONS
Aashvi and Nazamdeep Kaur, Amity International School

Participating in WWGC was a rewarding experience that fostered both personal and collective growth. What we enjoyed most was the sense of connection it created among students from diverse backgrounds, all united by a shared passion for wildlife conservation and the environment. The challenge pushed us to think about global issues and how every action, no matter how small, can contribute to a larger impact.

The challenge helped us learn in several ways, especially in terms of broadening our perspective on conservation. It introduced us to new concepts, highlighted the importance of protecting biodiversity, and showed how interconnected ecosystems are. We also gained practical insights on how to take steps in our daily lives to support environmental sustainability.

Our most enjoyable moment was when the quizmaster held a snake in his hand and showed us a picture of his pet cobra! It was inspiring to see the bond he shared with a creature that is generally dreaded.

Ultimately, the experience left us with a deeper understanding of how interconnected the natural world is, and a renewed sense of responsibility to help preserve it.

Participating in the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge has been an exciting and enriching experience for us. Spending time with nature, catching butterflies, grasshoppers, and other insects has always been a joy, but this challenge took our exploration to the next level, helping us learn, explore, and discover more about reptiles and wildlife. Representing our school, Nand Vidya Niketan, at the national level was truly rewarding, and securing the 4th position in the Knowing Round at the state level was a memorable highlight. Emerging victorious at both the state and zonal levels was an unforgettable achievement, and the constant support and guidance from our school motivated us throughout the journey

We are grateful to WWF for providing this incredible platform to showcase our passion for wildlife and environmental conservation. It has been fun, interesting, and highly educational, and we are excited to explore more about wildlife creatures in the future. We look forward to more such opportunities ahead!

The Wild Wisdom Global Challenge on reptiles was exceptionally well organized, with a great selection of questions that tested our knowledge and skills. The event was a fantastic experience with a wonderful atmosphere and enthusiastic participants. The questions were challenging and covered a wide range of topics. The quiz master did an excellent job of crafting questions that were both informative and engaging. The hosting team was extremely efficient and ensured a smooth transition between rounds.

Participating in the national level quiz competition was an exhilarating experience that pushed us to our limits. We thoroughly enjoyed the competition and appreciated the opportunity to meet and learn from our fellow quizzers. The quiz inspired us to conserving wildlife. We hereby thank WWF for giving us the opportunity to participate in this quiz.

Participating in the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge has been a breathtaking experience, opening our minds to the amazing world of nature. This journey has fostered a deep love for discovering more about the wildlife around us, as well as a greater appreciation for nature conservation.

Through this competition, we've developed a sense of wonder and curiosity, realizing how much we have to discover about our planet. This year's topic, reptiles, was especially captivating — studying them inspired us to journey deeper into their fascinating backgrounds. We've particularly enjoyed researching the order Squamata, as their unique abilities and heterogeneity never cease to amaze us.

The challenge itself has been unforgettable. From the classroom rounds to the international finale, every stage brought excitement and education. The international round, in particular, was both nerve-wracking and exhilarating, with the fierce competition raising the bar and making the experience truly memorable.

We are grateful to WWF for this incredible opportunity, which has not only expanded our knowledge but also ignited a lifelong passion for nature.

The Wild Wisdom Global Challenge 2024, with the theme "Reptiles: The Ultimate Scaly Survivalists," was an eye-opening experience that went beyond being just a quiz. It deepened our understanding of the extraordinary adaptations of reptiles and highlighted the critical need to address the ongoing biodiversity crisis. Each question revealed how much more we have to learn about the natural world and reminded us of the urgent challenges facing wildlife today.

The challenge emphasized the importance of awareness and action in preserving these species and the ecosystems they support. It was a rewarding experience that not only broadened our knowledge but also sparked a genuine commitment to conservation. Participating made us realize that understanding is the first step toward making a meaningful impact in the protection of our planet.
